Metal
Worked hard, metal locks stress inside itself. Warmed and cooled with care, its structure settles into a lower-energy order: relieved, ductile, ready for the next load.

Faced with a vast field of good-but-not-best choices, the method borrows the metal's discipline: while it runs hot it roams; as it cools it grows decisive and settles on the best.

The qubit
The furthest descendant of the search. Where the cooling search climbs its barriers on heat, the quantum annealer passes beneath them — tunnelling through what could never be climbed. The same convergence, carried to the coldest instrument in physics.

The bridge
Both are controlled convergence under load: strain relieved into stable order by heat and patient cooling; a hard problem settled into its best basin by a falling temperature. That convergence is the discipline Annealir builds.
